List of the Characters in Watchmen

The Comedian, previously known as his civilian name -  Edward Blake. Is the instagator of the story. He’s been murdered which sets the plot in motion. The US government actually had officially sanctioned him as an official superhero before the ban came into place. A slightly crazed character we find out he’s the father of Laurie the Silk Spectres daughter through raping her in the 1940s.

Doctor Manhattan, previously known by his civilian name of Jon Osterman became the blue creature he is after an industrial accident (which incidently gave him superhuman powers). During the US – Soviet rows of that decade he has been a major player in the tensions between the two nations. He’s got some pretty cool quantum powers allowing him to travel through space and time.

Silk Spectre the second, has an off-on relationship with Doctor Manhattan that pleases the US government. She is the daughter of The Comedian and her mother (the first Silk Spectre – Sally Jupiter).

Nite Owl (the second there was a previous one) used the civilian name Dan Dreiberg. He had an interterest in birds and has some pretty cool gadgets including a ship and a snazzy costume.

Ozymandias also known as a Adrian Veidt is one of the most intelligent people on the planet. At the moment he is concentrating on running his global business empires.
